Hospitality and me

Tom fell in love with food at a young age, baking cakes and bread with his Nan. He trained to be a chef and worked for Malmaison and Park Regis in Birmingham and the Marriott in Bournemouth, before joining Platinum.

Social me

FOOTBALL! FOOTBALL! FOOTBALL! I have fond memories of going to watch my team Birmingham City with my dad and have been sick with the football bug ever since. I appreciate the finer things in life; cigars, whiskey and real ales and I like to wear a sharp suit whenever I have the opportunity.

Why Platinum

I enjoy the buzz of the Hospitality Industry, but I wanted to have more control over the hours I worked, so I joined an agency in Birmingham which gave me a vast amount of varied experience in different kitchens.
When I moved to Bournemouth, I worked for Platinum as a temporary chef. I just loved their style, ethos and caring approach and I wanted to help others achieve a stable work/life balance with decent pay.
