Our client is a modern hotel near the vibrant South Bank area of South East London. Part of a worldwide group of hotels, this property is a busy operation offering a main restaurant, all day dining in the bar area, room service, VIP lounge as well as F&B facilities for up to 700.
The hotel has a lot of history which they’ve tried to incorporate in their décor.
What’s involved?
As a Chef de Partie, you will prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard and in a timely manner for a variety of food outlets; mostly using fresh, locally sourced produce.
You will work as part of a team of 21 chefs, whilst also providing guidance to junior members of the team; catering for an average of 250-350 at breakfast and 100-200 covers from the all-day dining menu. Brunch is particularly popular here at weekends, which can see over 100 covers per day. In addition to the main restaurant and bar, there is a room service menu running as well as a menu in the VIP lounge area.
Please note, accommodation is not available with this role, therefore you must be able to commute to the area daily.
