What’s involved?
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist in the running of the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant, outlets and C&B operations in accordance with company standards. You will work to recipes, being responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes whilst ensuring consistency in that section. You will assist in other sections when required and will assist in the training of junior chefs you work with.
As an experienced chef, you will demonstrate excellent knife skills and proper food handling procedures at all times, properly wrapping, labelling, dating and storing all food items in their correct areas. You will ensure your workstation is kept clean at all times during service and be an organised individual, able to work under pressure and to deadlines and targets set.
A positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential, as well as the ability to work both as part of a team and alone.
Please note, staff accommodation is not available with this position, therefore, you must be able to commute to the area daily.
