We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join the team at a renowned gastro pub with rooms in West Sussex.

As Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in the success of the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to create and deliver exceptional seasonal British cuisine. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen team, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standards.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment, with a team of chefs who are passionate about food and service. The gastro pub is committed to providing its guests with the best possible dining experience, and as Sous Chef, you will play a key role in achieving this.

What you’ll need:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
• Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of British cuisine
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
• Passion for food and a commitment to excellence
