We are looking for a talented and passionate Sous chef who can deliver dishes that showcase the best of seasonal and local ingredients, with creative and harmonious flavour pairings. You will work with a friendly and dedicated team that strives to provide a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

To apply for this role, you must have previous experience in a 3 rosette or Michelin star establishment.

What’s involved?

As a Sous chef in this prestigious establishment, you will have the following responsibilities –

• Manage the kitchen operations in the absence of the chef.
• Mentor and train the Junior kitchen staff, as well as perform line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
• Control and organise kitchen inventory and costing.
• Handle food and product ordering by keeping accurate records and minimising waste, as well as improving existing systems to reduce waste and manage budgetary issues.
• Ensure quality and restaurant standards in all food preparation and presentation.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef in designing menus for the restaurant, and maintain the kitchen organisation, staff skills, and training opportunities.
