Interesting fact
I have cycled 500km along the Nile in Egypt and from London to Paris for Charity. I was once persuaded to take part in a bungee jump next to the O2 arena in London. I am petrified of heights!
Marketing
My career in marketing began in France in 2013 where I studied for a Diplôme de Français Professionnel. During my studies I worked for a 3-star golf club, hotel, and restaurant. It was here that I practised my French language whilst managing all areas of communication and marketing including organising weddings. Three years later I was approached by a friend to work as a freelance book publicist for a publishers based in the UK. During my five years at the publishers, I managed both their Children’s and Young Adult imprints. Here, I learned to appreciate the written word in all its forms but, copywriting is my real passion. Creating rich, engaging content, and getting said content in front of the people who want to read it is my ‘joie de vivre’! I relocated back to Britain in 2020 just ahead of the pandemic. After freelancing for local businesses throughout the lockdown I discovered Platinum and the rest, as they say, is history!
